Lunaris is a software studio. We build practical software for small businesses — the tools your team works in, the systems your business runs on, and the applications your customers use.
The story
Lunaris started from a simple observation. Most small businesses don't need a large agency, and they don't need the enterprise software they keep getting quoted for. They need someone who understands the problem, gives them a real number, and delivers something that works on the date they promised.
That's the whole model. Mihail founded the studio and leads the work, we stay small on purpose, and we bring in specialists — design, infrastructure, frontend — when a project genuinely needs them. It means we take on a limited number of projects at a time and say no to work that isn't a fit, which turns out to be better for everyone.
We're not the cheapest option and we don't try to be. What we are is straightforward: you'll know what you're getting, what it costs, and when it arrives, and you'll be able to reach the person doing the work.

What working with us is like.
You don't need to speak our language
Most of the people we work with aren't technical, and that's completely normal. Describe the problem the way you'd describe it to a colleague. Turning that into software is our job — and if we ever explain something in a way that doesn't land, say so and we'll try again.
We'd rather talk you out of it
If a ready-made product would solve your problem for a fraction of what we'd charge, we'll tell you which one. If your idea needs to be smaller before it's worth building, we'll say that too. Turning down work that isn't a fit costs us one project; taking it on costs us a reputation.
You see it every week
Software goes wrong when it disappears for two months and comes back as a surprise. So it doesn't. Every Friday there's something you can click on and a short note about what changed — which means course corrections happen while they're still cheap.
It's yours when we're done
The software, the accounts, the passwords and the written instructions all transfer to you, and they're prepared so another developer could take over. We'd like you to stay because the work is good, not because leaving would be painful.
Where we are
Remote, and easy to work with.
We're based in Chișinău and set up to work remotely with clients across Europe. Our hours overlap with the whole working day in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordics, so you're not waiting overnight for an answer. Calls in English, contracts and invoicing handled properly, and we'll travel for a kickoff when a project warrants it.
